The Claremont Kiwanis Charities, Inc. is the local chapter of the Kiwanis International organization. Kiwanis is a global network of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child at a time. Through this annual Big Auction, our Ringing Bells fundraiser during the holiday season, and the Claremont Brewfest, all of the money raised is spent in ways that help children. Some charities which we have been proud to support include:
- Kiwanis Cares Christmas Program
- Scholarships for graduating students from Stevens High School, Fall Mountain High School, Newport High School, and Sunapee High School
- Camp Sunshine for terminally ill children
- Special Olympics
- Claremont Savings Bank Community Center

- Food for Kids Backpack program in Charlestown Schools
- Cooper Canyon
- Project Red & Blue
- Sugar River Tech Center Summer Camp
- Claremont Youth Baseball Association, to purchase helmets
- Dody’s Kids Golf Program
- Full Circle Farm Scholarships
- Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in Sullivan County
- Kurn Hattin School for Children
We have also sponsored other community events like the Diabetes Walk-a-thon and a Bike Rodeo to promote bicycle safety.
